Wardrobe tour
Alright my lovelies,
Back at university, my wardrobe has once again shrunk to a third of its size as my one at home and I am left attempting to compress my mass of clothes into a tiny cupboard. Something which has been made worse by the January sales enticing me to buy yet more clothes and shoes to add to my over-spilling wardrobe.. oops.
So I thought I would do a bit of a combination and show you all the way I organise my university wardrobe and the new additions I was given at Christmas and found when rummaging around the January sales.
In my wardrobe I have two shelves at the top and a short hanging rail. All in all, not much but I do try to make the most of it!
On my top shelf, I keep my summer shoes like my sandles and loafers which are in hibernation for the next few months, for it seems to just keep getting colder and colder here in the fair English isle! On the second shelf to the left I store my t-shirts in a rather tall and dangerously leaning stack whereas on the right I have folded my many, many jumpers. I decided to split them into seperate piles with my thinner jumpers on one side such as my sweatshirts and light weight polo necks and my thick woolly ones on the other side.

In terms of what I chose to hang on the rail I opted for those items which always seem to crinkle and crease such as some of my favorite dresses and more classy shirts. Since my wardrobe is rather small I don't have much space to separately hang my cardigans, blazers, jackets and coats so I chose instead to layer them over my dresses. I found this works especially well for creating a ready made outfit for those mornings when I am running late for a lecture or in a rush trying to catch the bus into town. I can just grab a hanger from my wardrobe knowing I have a complete and easy outfit already created! Trust me when I say this is a life saver at university...
However, this wardrobe tour would not be complete without introducing you all to a couple of Katherine Lottie newbies!
Before Christmas I stumbled upon a very special 1920s sequin flapper top, made of silk and intricately woven with thousands of beads in a vintage store called Sobey's and have been obsessed with it ever since!
Next was Christmas in which I was lucky enough to have such generous friends and family who completely understand my clothes obsession! I was given a beautiful set of Woolovers lambswool polo-necks from my Grandmother and Grandfather, a gorgeous cropped Zara polo-neck jumper from my amazing Auntie, an authentic LEVI denim jacket from my father and step mum from their trip to America, along with a pair of red and black cowboy boots. I think its safe to say that I was very spoilt and I am very blessed to have such an amazing family!

In the January sales, I picked up a vintage baseball jacket which I had been lusting over for quite a while and I may have gone a little crazy in the shoe department...oops! I managed to find two absolute bargains, a stunning pair of blue/green doc martens which I have practically worn everyday since I discovered them and a my first ever pair of heels, some black ankle boots from Topshop. I was always afraid to wear heels considering my 5ft 11inches but these were so beautiful I just could not resist!
I hope this has been an interesting insight into a rather disorganised fashion bloggers wardrobe! I hope you have a lovely week and I shall see you very soon, goodbyee...
