Bonnie Brighton

Alright everyone!

Happy February and welcome to the last month of winter and what a cold one its meant to be this year!

I am currently snuggled up under a pile of blankets with a nice cup of tea to warm me up, safe to say I feel a little bit like a cosy bug in a rug!

I'm going to keep this blog nice and sweet as I have a rather lengthy one coming up next week all about my wardrobe and its new and old editions so I thought I would do a little day in the life kind of blog, a walk on the wild side you might say!

Last weekend I went to visit one of my best friends and her boyfriend in Brighton, and had quite possibly the best time of the year so far. In amongst catch ups cosied on Ella's sofa with Chinese take away and countless episodes of outnumbered, we spent the first evening listening to music and dancing to some old school classics with some of Ella's friends from Brighton.

The next day we drove into Brighton town for a little adventure. We explored the lanes, rummaging through hundreds of vintage shops and jewelry stands stopping for lunch in Bills. I found some amazing film for my new camera and some absolutely beautiful silver hoop earings which, will probably be making a regular occurrence in blogs from now! With our stomachs full of 'all day breakfast' we took a wonder down to the beach breathing in the fresh and rather windy sea air watching the sun set over the water. A perfect ending to a perfect weekend.

I think it was during this weekend I realised how important those people are which have an impact on our lives, how they shape and define the person we become. Ella and I met at university and have only known each other a few months but I trust her with my life and know that she always will be there if ever I need her. I am very blessed to have few close friends like Ella, many of which I had to leave behind when I left for university or when I moved counties but the distance means very little in the grand scheme of things and every time I see them, its like we never left. It is this which has made me understand the true meaning of the word 'friendship'.

On that note I will leave you with a few snaps of my weekend. I shall see you all next week!

Goodbyeeee...
