Travel Lookbook

Alright everyone!

One of my favourite ways to spend my spare time is travelling whether that is just around the UK, in Europe or accross the world. Some of my most treasured memories are of the times I stepped outside my comfort zone and embraced the unknown.

Now, I find that it is essential to be wearing the right clothing when you are travelling, to allow you to assimilate into both the culture and climate of wherever you are travelling to. So I have put together a few different outfits which you could wear to lots of different places in many countries! I hope you like them and I shall see you very soon, Goodbye!

English Countryside

Having lived in the rural South West for the past 18 years I have summed up in two words English country style... Simple and practical. For us country folk, being comfy and able to withstand mud, rain and wind is a top priority. The English weather is incredibly changeable so you must be prepared for all climates so I opted for a pair of simple skinny jeans and a floaty top to keep me both cool when the sun comes out and warm when the sun dips behind the clouds. Then of course I needed my trusty cowboy boots and Barbour!

Mediterranean Heat

It can get pretty hot in Europe during the Summer months. Having traveled to countries such as Italy, Cyprus and Switzerland during the Summer I have found that a loose floaty dress, this one is from Fat Face and a simple pair of sandles are the best way forward to survive the close heat of the meditaranian and stay cool but prevent the sun from causing too much damage!

Mountain Top

Standing on a mountain top is breathtaking, as you look over the continuous ebb and flow of valley's and peaks before you. But, to get to that mountain top you need an outfit that will endure. Hence I opted for some comfy denim shorts from H and M, a simple white cotton top to keep cool and of course a pair of sturdy hiking boots.

City Dreaming

I always like to dress a little bit more elegantly when I am out and about in the city and  I adore how this blue, red and white striped 'And other stories' dress adds a pop of colour and sophistication, helping you to stand out in the crowded streets of London, Paris or New York, my three favourite cities!

Indian Summer

Loose harem pants, these ones are from H and M and another simple cotton floaty top will help to keep you cool as the heat of the Asian sun beats down upon you.

    1. Thank you! I would definitely recommend investing in a Barbour, I have had mine second hand for over 5 years now and it still looks brand new. I'm not sure what style mine is but I really love the Barbour Beadnell's of you are looking to buy!
