A late Summer Date Night
Alright Everyone!
Outfits are, one of the first thing a person notices about you and therefore one could argue they are an essential part to the first impression you give. Some people say you can tell a lot about a person's personality from the clothes they where, and this is certainly true for me!
Hence I believe, especially on a first date when you are trying to be yourself, casual and collected getting the outfit right is a good place to start!
So I put together a little outfit that I thought would be great for a casual first date that wasn't too out there but if you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know is very 'me'. It's a particularly good outfit for a late summer evening, blending neutral colours and soft shapes, especially going into the Autumn months as it's layered so you can slowly build up warmth as the evening goes on.
I paired a loose fitting white smock dress, a bargain I found in the New Look Summer sale with my trusty cropped sweater from Topshop and my navy tweed Jack Wills blazer. To finish off the look I, of course chose a pair of Cowboy boots, these tan heeled ones I found in a thrift shop in Switzerland and plaited my hair into a simple half-up, half-down style.
I hope you enjoy and I shall see you very soon, Goodbye!
