A farmers life for me

Alrighty Everyone!

Today my friend Daisy and I went for a little river walk near where we live, it was a typical early Autumn day, muggy with heavy cloud looming after the storm that morning.

A very English, West country day.

The thunder, lightning and torrential rain which had petered off around 9 o'clock had left the air and ground drenched, so when it came to what to wear, we wanted something cool enough but which would also protect us from the squelching mud and droplets from the trees.

I think Daisy's outfit does this brilliantly, pairing loose long dungarees from Topshop.co.uk with a thin tank top, keeping her nice and cool in the sticky weather. An old vintage Barbour protects her from the possible showers forecast for around lunchtime. She finished off the look with some edgy black combat boots from Office.co.uk, these gave a diversity to the look, as well as adding a little something unique and quirky.

The Autumnal morning wasn't complete without a little forage in the brambles for some blackberries, which are perfectly ripe at this time of year and I believe the stains which consequently blotched our fingertips were reflected ironically in the mulberry colour of Daisy's tank top!

I hope that you like this little outfit of the day kind of blog, I just wanted to do something small and a little different to previous posts. Enjoy and I shall see you very soon!

Goodbyee!
