A hidden New Years treasure
Alright everyone and a Happy New Year!

Since its the begining of 2016, I like many others have set myself a few New Years resolutions which undoubtabdly I will succeed at doing for the next two months but by Summer would have forgotten exactly what they were... but the thought was there!
My one resolution which I very much hope to stick to is blogging more! Something which upsettingly has had to take a back seat since my work load at University has increased dramatically. However its a new year and I am determined to balance both my blogging and my uni work more so hopefully more regular posts will be coming your way. Fingers crossed!
Unfortunately this outfit post was meant to go up before Christmas but my computer decided, much to my dismay, that it did not want to upload any of the pictures but as I always say better late than never!
My Auntie has a hidden treasure in my back garden, a tiny log cabin nestled under the overhanging trees complete with an old wooden arm chair and cosy log burner. As soon as you step inside, your troubles melt away and its just you, your family and the warmth of the fire.
All wrapped up in my favourite polo neck jumper from Zara layered over my super soft grey smock dress and cosy fleece lined Primark tights I don't think I have ever felt as blissful as in that moment with my new black heels waiting for me by the wooden door.
I am very lucky to have such a loving and kind family and friends. Days spent just in their company around Christmas time make me feel so humbled and realise how much they mean to me. Without them I wouldn't be me and its unlikely I would never have done half the things I have been privileged to have done such as starting my blog, studying Economics, heading to Camp America this Summer without their support.
I hope the festive season has been as fantastic for you as it was for me and that you are ready to enter the New Year with a bang and a cheer as I did with my best school friends on a frosty New Years eve.
Here's to a fabulous 2015 and an even better 2016!

ReplyDeleteHello there! Thank you very much, its from Topshop. The next post will be up this week!
DeleteHi! I know summer is almost over so I was wondering if you could do a post about transitional style, as I still love to wear my summer dresses I just get a little lost about how to accessorise them with jumpers/cardigans and autumn/winter shoes for example, that would be much appreciated! :)
