Canterbury dreaming...

Well hello there everyone!

Its been a while and for that I am so sorry!

I didn't realise how truly disorientating starting university would be, I feel like my body clock, organisation and life in general has done a complete u-turn!

No longer am I surrounded by rolling hills and open moorland but have crossed the width of England into the East, a land of open green fields and ancient cities.

One of which I felt obliged to visit, the beautiful city of Canterbury. Nestled in the Kentish countryside Canterbury is home to the synonymous cathedral, eclectic café's and shops and cobbled streets.

Rather charming I think you will agree!

My friend Emily and I had a bit of a mooch around, wondering through the bustling streets breathing in the chilly Autumn air and stopping for a spot of lunch in a gorgeous chocolate cafe. Yes, I really did say chocolate cafe, where I may or may not have had the best hot chocolate of my existence.

To shelter myself from the usually cold weather I opted for my vintage shearing coat and a thick wooly jumper. Adding a pop of colour with my green vintage 60's skirt and keeping my feet nice and cosy with my classic Chelsea boots from Fatface.

I hope you all enjoyed this little blog post and I shall see you again very soon!

  5. Hi there! I was just looking through some previous fashion shows (as you do haha) and saw this outfit by Vanessa Seward in the AW15 collection (http://assets.vogue.com/photos/55c650b408298d8be214be04/master/w_300/SEW_0020.jpg) and I absolutely love it! Could you recommend pieces from shops or even pieces that you own since you have such good taste that could help me recreate this look? Ta!
