Spring style: boys

Alright everyone!

Spring, that time of year where the world blooms a new, and not just in nature but in fashion too!

Since my last blog post was all about girls fashion, I thought it was only fair that I evened the score and talked a little bit about mens Spring staples.

I think I may have mentioned this before but, I am very lucky as all of my friends, both boys and girls have excellent fashion sense. Not only that but they all have very different approaches to style, from bold to simple and classic, its like a big melting pot of fashion!

So, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give you all a few ideas into transitioning from chilly winter nights, cosy jumpers and thick coats into hazy evening sunlight, loose t-shirts and denim jackets.

If  you liked the diversification of seeing mens fashion as well as womens, just let me know and I shall try and do a bit more of both! I hope you enjoy and I shall see you all very soon...

Jacob...

Who doesn't love a good ole' check shirt!

I always think they are such a classic for men and women as both Hazel and Jacob have demonstrated, particularly at this time of year. Especially as you can throw over a knitted jumper for some warmth during early spring as Jacob has done!

I love the blues and reds Jacob has chosen for with this outfit, subtlety injecting a bit of colour into the chilly March air. I think keeping it very simple and understated really helps when transitioning between seasons.

Also, some classic chino's are a perfect men's staple for early spring-time, as they are not too heavy for the milder weather but are a lot warmer than summer shorts. I think Jacobs navy ones are particularly great for early spring, adding some colour in the sometimes depressing (or should I say mainly when living in England) March winds and April showers.

Chuck on some aviator sunglasses and brogues and you have a perfect outfit for an early spring day!

Blaise...

Simple, yet effective is the way forward.

Much like Jacob, Blaise has kept his outfit very understated. Keeping with blue tones he has thrown a loose light blue wash shirt over a navy t-shirt.

A loose shirt is perfect for early Spring as it provides a light shield from the March winds but is not too heavy for the warmer weather when the sun decides to shine.

A pair of skinny jeans, along with chino's are also a wardrobe staple for guys, and I love how Blaise has turned his up at the bottom adding a little bit of texture.

Throw on some classic Doc Martens and you are ready to go!

George...

Okay, can we just take a moment to appreciate George's trousers...

George has also kept his outfit very simple with some key pieces. I love the pop of colour from chino's contrasting to the shirt and brightening up a cold Spring day, injecting a promise of summer!

Again, chino's are an excellent way to transition into Spring being neither too thick and heavy or too lightweight. The classic grey pea coat keeps the outfit understated, and is a staple transitioning piece for early Spring, as it creates a really nice structured silhouette.

A pair of sunglasses and a turned up collar and ta da, you have a ideal outfit for the Springtime!

    1. Hello, I can certainly try, although unfortunately it might not be up for a while as I am coming up to my final exams so I am a little bit tied up with revision at the moment! However, as soon as they are over it will be one of the first things I do!
