A true British Picnic

Alrighty everybody!

Yesterday it was absolutely beautiful, sunny and warm in England (a rare occasion!) a couple of my friends and I decided that we would gather a feast of food and drinks(probably a little too much...) and take a walk up to the hills which surround our town and take in the views of the landscape.

We had scones with jam and cream, chocolate brownies and chocolate cake, sausage rolls, c, strawberries with clotted cream and handmade cucumber sandwich's- a very English picnic if I do say so myself.

I thought I would just give you all an insight into what my friends and I like to wear when we go hiking across the countryside and have picnic's in muddy fields. As is the norm for the southwest... Hopefully this will give you some inspiration for something you could do on a warm summer's day that's fun, in-expensive and just a memorable day out!

We sat underneath a large oak tree overlooking the fields

The scones were covered in clotted cream and laden-ed with homemade mulberry jam

Pip wore a pretty floral white vest top, tucked into a tile print Jackwills.com skirt and loose fitting navy cardigan also from Jack wills.

Similarly to Pip, Abi wore a loose fitting navy cardigan with a pretty floral blouse and cat eye shaped sunglasses

Maddy paired a floaty white top with a loose denim jacket and black skinny jeans

Hazel wore simple light wash skinny jeans with a floaty lace blue top from Superdry.com

I chose a floral empire line dress with lace trimming by Newlook.com, I paired this with a loose fitting white shirt and my old Barbour jacket- Barbour.com

You just can't go on a picnic without trying the classic 'jump shot'
